Self-catering apartment close to the beach in Simon's Town
One double bedroom plus very comfortable sleeper couch,
accommodates 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children
(Also available our new Fig Leaf Cottage - see Accomodation page for details)
This peaceful, light, airy apartment offers breathtaking 180 degree views of False Bay. From here you can watch the whales in season, the seals, the birds, the boats and all the changing beauty of the bay. Greet the sun as it rises over the mountains opposite or watch the moon cast its soft light onto the waves.

Just below you, a short walk away, is the delightful, safe and sandy Fisherman's Beach, ideal for swimming, paddling or sunbathing. All along this shoreline there are endless rock pools with a wealth of marine species.
Closer to home you have the use of a magnificent, 10 meter solar heated swimming pool in the garden, well protected from the prevailing south-easterly wind. The mature, indigenously planted garden also has a sturdy trampoline and climbing frame for the young at heart.
The apartment is attached to our house but is self-contained and has its own separate entrance. You will not be intruded upon but you will be sharing the garden and the pool with us. We also like to be on hand to welcome you and ensure your stay is a good one.
Diane (South African) is the home maker and architect of the apartment. She is also a teacher and therapist. Peter (English) works for Cambridge University running seminars on sustainability for senior business people in Southern Africa. Tristan (21) is a graphic designer. D'Arcy is our very smart, friendly little dog. He is very welcoming but likes his territory to himself, so we ask you to leave your pets at home.
We look forward to welcoming you!
